we had our first appt with the fertility dr. her name is dr jennifer phy, and gary really liked her, as did i. she really listened to us and what we had to say, and went from there. she wants to put me back on glucophage to help me possibly loose some more weight, and i'm supposed to go back in june to see where we are on that. and if i am doing better healthwise, feeling better, etc...then she will start me on treatement. i can't wait! i'm trying as hard as i can, so we'll see what's up in june i guess. i'm not sure what treatment she'll try first...see i had clomid the first time we tried to get pg with alayna, and she told us that dr's generally only give women clomid to women for only 12 cycles in a lifetime, due to an increase risk of ovarian cancer. but she seemed very positive about there being other options to try.
alrighty then...it's off to work i go ;)

I've heard WONDERFUL things about IUI! That's how "Jon & Kate + 8" got their sextuplets. Not that that happens often, but I do know a lot of women on Fertility Friend that have gotten pregnant with IUI! It's much cheaper than IVF (which can go up to about 15 thousand dollars).
